Edward Ubiera is a New York–based art director, designer and illustrator who lives with his wife and children. Raised between Jersey City and the Dominican Republic, his early influences include action figures, Saturday morning cartoons, and skate culture.

His practice focuses on art direction, design, illustration, and collage, moving between the figurative, the literal, and the abstract. He works across digital and hand-drawn media, as well as murals, painting, sculpture, and printmaking.

Selected clients include The New York Times, Herman Miller, and Tidal Magazine.
